Chios, the island of mystics and mastic, the birthplace of Homer and the home of a few very wealthy shipowners, located in the Aegean Sea between the islands of Lesbos and Samos. It belongs to the Anatolian islands and lies just off the Turkish coast. The smallest distance between Chios and Turkey does not exceed 6 km. It is a diverse island with opportunities for everyone. Authentic medieval villages and fishing villages, alternating with natural citrus groves, olive trees and of course the unique mastic trees. There are also beautiful beaches to find, and it is worth visiting its capital.
